Miri (Millimetric Cosplay) is a costumer, award-winning competitor, and judge based in the DC area, receiving Best Of craftsmanship awards at MomoCon, KatsuCon, and the World Science Fiction Convention, among others. Over the past ~15 years, she has judged craftsmanship at events of all sizes, including DragonCon, WorldCon, and CostumeCon, with a special love for competitors trying out new techniques and making simple things exquisite. Miri taught herself to sew from DeviantArt tutorials and the Cosplay.com forums in the late ‘00s and has been trying to continuously up her game ever since, and will happily talk shop and trade war stories for as long as anyone will let her.
